Illustrated Family Paper

Cassell's Illustrated Family Paper was a short lived periodical which ran from 1853-67 and covered British and world events including news of war, disaster, ceremonies, the arts and science. In a crowded market place, it changed its name to Cassell's Magazine and focus to become more fiction based. It continued in this guise until 1922 when it was taken over by Storyteller magazine.
